Concerns and Complaints Procedure

As you will know, the school is very proud of its unique caring community and we are very grateful for the support from everyone who is part of it. At the same time, we always look for ways to improve how we live and work in harmony together. As within any community of people, sometimes things do not always go to plan, especially when around half of our school community is made up of children.

We know that effective working between each group of stakeholders is based on good relationships and open communication. Staff and Governors work especially hard to ensure that we remain as approachable and available as possible to everyone in the school community.

Should you feel concerned about anything within the school community, we would be grateful if you could continue to follow the procedures below in order for us to best support any concerns.

  • In the first instance raise the matter with your child's Class Teacher who may not be able to respond immediately but will arrange to meet you to discuss the issue at the earliest convenience.
  • If, for any reason, the matter is not resolved then you should make an appointment to discuss it with the Headteacher, Mr. Grey or the Chair of Governors, Mrs Caroe if the matter is in regard to the Headteacher.
  • In the unlikely event that you remain concerned then you should follow the procedure in the school's Complaints Policy which can be accessed via the link below.
